Since he was a young boy, California cowboy Chad Denton always wanted to follow his grandfather's footsteps and be a rodeo cowboy. He prepared by riding calves and steers and climbed on his first junior bull at the tender age of 13. Chad is one of a handful of bull riders who has successfully competed in both the PBR and the PRCA ranks. Along with the success he's enjoyed, injuries have also played a role in his life, especially over the last few years. A three-time qualifier to the PBR World Finals, Chad says his greatest professional accomplishment was competing in his first Finals in 2002 and finishing the season ranked 12th in the world.
